Hot Style for the Summer Months
Summer is the perfect time to re-vamp your clothing style and have a big summer clear-out to get rid of all those “maybe…”, “what-if…” and “when I…” outfits. With so many options, creating a wearable summer wardrobe can seem daunting. So, here are a few tips about what’s in and what’s out this summer.
Firstly, if you are planning on spending anytime at the pool or on the beach, you are going to need the perfect swimming costume. This season the cut-out swimsuit is an essential item, re-named ‘the monokini’ because it is a combination of a bikini and swimming costume. This style of suit allows you to cover bits of your body you don’t want to show, while revealing others.

For occasional wear try outfits with texture, like ruffles or puffy sleeves. If buying a new outfit is out of your budget why not simply adding accessories? This summer trends in accessories are very carefree, allowing for a mixture of different textures, patterns, details and a surprising color combinations.

Also, for those with good legs, are chic short shorts. Although they are said to be more stylish on a hot summer day than a mini-skirt, short shorts are not for everyone. If you prefer not to uncover your legs this season, cropped pants are another option.

A few other summer trend details to think about; tunics are still in, as are gladiator sandals, but flip-flops and skinny jeans are out, to be replaced by ballet flats or wedge heel sandals and wide-keg pants.
